Dear Employer,

After much deliberation, I have decided that I will be unable to accept your selection of another candidate for the advertised position. I understand that you have many applicants and appreciate the investment of time that it has taken to choose the one you believe is most suitable for your company. Ultimately, however, I have decided that a career with your company is in my best interests.

I’d like to recognize your effort throughout this process. I myself have spent quite a lot of energy searching for a position that matches my capabilities and requirements. After reviewing a number of rejection letters over the past week I selected a few top companies that would best suit my needs.
